Did Debbie Gisbon have a nose job? Dr. Copeland takes a guess.
by Mirelle Argaman
At age 17, Deborah Gibson was the youngest person ever to write, produce and perform a No. 1 single—and the '80s pop icon still holds the record! Over the years, Deborah, 37, has reinvented herself on the Broadway stage with starring roles in "Beauty and the Beast" and "Cabaret." She even posed nude for Playboy in 2005. Now it appears that she's revamped her nose along with her career! Star asked NYC-based plastic surgeon Michelle Copeland, M.D., who does not treat the singer, what Deborah may have done to downsize her schnoz. "She looks like she's had a nose job, but unfortunately, it looks very unnatural," Dr. Copeland tells Star. "The tip and nostrils look like they've been made smaller, but instead of looking more refined, they look pinched." As for the bridge, Dr. Copeland says, "[It] appears narrower, but she has a bump now, and it looks crooked—like she may have broken it after she had the surgery." The fix? Dr. Copeland says the bridge needs to be reduced and the bump smoothed out. She also thinks adding cartilage at the tip would help minimize the collapsed, pinched look in that area. The cost? Between $8,000 and $12,000.
